CENTURY LEL INTERNAL MIX RESIN WET-OUT GUN.

The Binks Century LEL (Low Emission Laminator) guns are advanced internal-mix application devices designed for high-performance application of polyester and other catalyzed resins. All Binks-branded FRP applicators identified as “LEL” or “LEL technology” employ low-pressure impinging fluid streams to generate low-velocity resin and gel-coat fans, thus meeting the EPA’s definition of non-atomizing application devices according to NESHAP 40 CFR part 63.

When the Century LEL gun is utilized in accordance with the instructions outlined in the part sheet, it offers several benefits to the user. These advantages include enhanced transfer efficiency, a cleaner workspace, and the facilitation of MACT (Maximum Achievable Control Technology) compliance by allowing the application of non-atomized mechanical application UEF (Uncontrolled Emission Factor) values when calculating plant emissions. All variations of the Century LEL gun have undergone emissions testing in line with EPA guidelines and have demonstrated emissions of monomers at or below the anticipated UEF levels.
